My Department

The Department of Banking and Finance aims at the qualification of new staff with general knowledge, alert to the challenges in finance, and able to work in banking sector as well as in the administration of local and foreign private companies. The student will be able to acquire the necessary knowledge to operate in Cambodia and abroad due to the learnt theoretical framework, banking system, Cambodian economy, accounting, etc. The department’s objective is to qualify new financers and bankers, supplied with the field knowledge by benefiting from all the achievements of this discipline at the international level. The first necessary requirement for the pursuit of studies in this department will be the High School Diploma in Cambodia or an equivalent diploma of a Foreign High School Diploma subject to the criteria established by Ministry of Education Youth and Sport. The Admissions for this department will be defined by the admission exam. The necessary documentation for registration and for admission is explained in the Regulation of Zaman University.

Quickbook

             Quickbook is an accounting database software that manage finance and business. Quickbook also available as an online application, which mean that it will work on all operating system. You can input checks, invoices, and forms into the software as either table or reports. There are more than 100 predesigned forms for unique looks to your reports. With Quickbook, Finance can be organizes in many forms – tables, charts, and reports. Other features include online service, tracks sales and expenses, makes tax time easier, add-ons, pay taxes and bills, remote access, online banking, Excel import, and many more in regard to accounting. In the future, this program will help both my business and my personal life; because I can pay taxes and bills directly from my computer, and it can be used for my business or my organization to manage our accounting and finance.

Openproj

Openproj is an opensource database software, in which its main purpose is to manage projects. It is also made to replace Microsoft Project. Openproj is written on Java Platform, so it can be used in most of the available operating systems. Openproj’s fields can be add, remove and edited just as other database software. And both the report and the field are pre-set for project management purpose, but can be added and removed as please. In addition, Openproj feature include earned value cost, Gantt chart, PERT graph, Resource Breakdown Structure (RBS) chart, task usage reports, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) chart. I think that this software can help me now to manage the project that I am doing in school as well as other activities I am doing in my life. And in the future, I will be using this software to manage the projects that the company or organization that I work in is working on. This software will also make every project easy to control and monitor.
